PRESBYTERIAN STUDENT CENTER @ UGA:
Presbyterian Campus Ministry at The University of Georgia aspires to furnish students with a rich community experience through which they mature in their faith, develop into committed disciples of Jesus Christ, and become effective leaders of his church in the world. Our vision of ministry at the Presbyterian Student Center entails a path through encounter, worship, community, and service. We accomplish this through four ministry teams, which are led by four student ministers.
Encounter Team:
The Encounter Team introduces students to our ministry through Sunday dinners, intramural sports, movie nights, off-site gatherings, and special events.Worship Team:
We worship together on Sunday nights during the semester at 7p. The Worship Team coordinate this along with Centering Prayer and other events like Faith Flicks, Lectio Divina & Art, and Theological Brew.Community Team:
We build community at the PSC through community groups and retreats. Collectively, the community group leaders form the Community Team.Service Team:
The Service Team coordinates mission projects (Relay for Life, Food Bank), educational opportunities (Poverty Simulation), and mission trips (Mexico Mission Trip).
